As you exit the elevator or the stairs on the 1st floor, the collection will be on your left. All of these books may be checked out

DESCRIPTION:  The children's book collection has more than 7,500 award winning books of fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, science fiction, board books, fairy tales, picture books and bi-lingual books.

PUBLIC LIBRARIES

  • Jefferson Madison Regional Library

    The Jefferson Madison Regional Library is a fantastic public library with many locations and a large childrens' book collection.  UVa students, faculty and staff who live in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Louisa, Greene and Nelson counties, can go in person to any of the public libraries in those counties and borrow books. In person registration is required. For details see the Jefferson Madison Regional Library (JMRL) web site. The site also includes a link to the JMRL online catalog.
