Scanning in the CLIC  

The CLIC houses a digital sender. This device allows you to scan and digitize your document, convert it to PDF, and send the PDF to any U.Va. e-mail addresses for free.  The sender can scan in either black and white or color.

When you enter the CLIC, the digital sender is located on the left. Operating instructions are located next to the sender.

Use the sender in the "closed" position when you have a document on 8 1/2" x 11" paper that you wish to scan.

Use the sender in the "open" position when you are scanning documents smaller than 8 1/2" x 11" , scanning pages that you want to keep stapled together, or if you are scanning a chapter from a book.
