Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of taking another person’s words or ideas and using them as your own.
This includes:
· Buying a paper online or re-using a paper written by you or another person for another class
· Paraphrasing without acknowledgement
· Using information from any source and not citing it. This includes cutting and pasting from the web

- University of Virginia Writing Center The U.Va. Writing Center primarily works with student essays but can also help with proposals and personal statements, focusing on the organization and structure of writing. (They do not proofread.) They also provide ESL support.
