Subject Librarians
Subject Librarians for Academic Departments and Special Collections
|
Subject librarians keep their assigned departments informed about events in the Library and learn from the departments about their library needs. They select books, journals, databases, and other materials for their disciplines, give instruction in the use of the Library, and handle specialized reference needs. If you wish to request a purchase for the library you may use the purchase request form. The links below in the left column take you to subject guides for each academic department. Also see a separate list of these database guides by subject and Library of Congress call number assignments by Subject Librarian. |
