  • CINAHL (EBSCO)  
    Lists articles from over 500 English-language journals and entries for healthcare books, nursing dissertations, conference proceedings, professional standards, software and audiovisual materials. Pre-CINAHL provides limited access to recent articles.
  • Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects  
    This database contains critical assessments of systematic reviews from a variety of medical journals. DARE records cover topics such as diagnosis, prevention, rehabilitation, screening, and treatment.
  • Dissertations & Theses Full Text 1861-present  
    Full text (PDF for download) of most dissertations accepted from 1997 on, some earlier works and some master's theses. Also lists dissertations and theses accepted from 1861 on in the US and at some Canadian, British, and other European universities.
  • Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts

  • Psychology: A SAGE Full-Text Collection  
    Searchable full text of 30 psychology journals published by Sage and some

    associated societies.

  • PubMed (National Library of Medicine )

    Full text of articles from journals published by Elsevier Science.
  • Web of Knowledge / Web of Science 1981-present  
    Web of Knowledge includes Science Citation Index (1970-), Social Sciences Citation Index (1981-), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1981-), which can be searched together or separately. Daily updates make it a good source for very recent information.
