Graduate Student Conference Room

Note: Requests submitted after 5:00 p.m. on Friday and before 8:00 a.m. on Monday are processed on Monday morning.

Only current U.Va. graduate students may reserve this space.

Graduate Student Reading Room

    The Graduate Student Reading Room is located on the third floor of Alderman Library, room 310.

      The Reading Room offers an attractive and comfortable space for UVa graduate students to conduct research and do work in the library. 

      The Reading Room offers 13 lockable short term storage lockers - keys can be checked out from the 4th floor desk, and shelves which can be "checked out" for a year in the same way stacks carrels can be checked out.  Please contact Stephanie Hunter for more information.

      The Reading Room is meant as a space for quiet study or for quiet small group work.  Please keep voices low.

      The Reading Room is reserved for graduate students and their guests only.
