If you already have a journal citation from an existing bibliography or some other source, use the Journal Finder to see if the UVA Libraries subscribe to the journal online or in print. If they do not, please consider submitting an interlibrary loan request for the item.
If you are taking a class on-Grounds and it is available in print, you will need to go to the designated UVa library to get the journal, unless it is located in IVY. In that case, click on the link, "Request Item from Ivy", located on the VIRGO record in the AVAILABILITY section. Then, click the red REQUEST button, select UVA USERS, fill out the form. If you enrolled in the Curry off-Grounds program or you are a faculty member and the article is not available online full text, fill out and submit an interlibrary loan request and the library will email you a PDF copy.
To determine whether UVA provides a journal online, enter the title of the journal in the Journal Finder's 2nd search box. If it is not available full text, enter the title of the journal in the Journal Finder's 1st search box to see if it is available in print at one of the UVA Libraries.
