Non-Population Schedules

Nonpopulation census schedules for Virginia, 1850-1880 (Micfilm 1883) 
The nonpopulation schedules after 1880 were destroyed by an Act of Cpngress and no longer exits.  The nonpopulation census reports include the following four schedules:

  • Death Schedules - list all people who dies the year prior to the census for each county in the state.
  • Agricultural Schedules - list all the farms in each countyr, giving the name of the owner, agent, or manager.
  • Industrial Production schedules -  list businesses or individuals who produce goods worth more than $500 in annual value.
  • Social Statistics schedules - give various "social" information, including scuh things as valuation of extates and annual taxes; lists of colleges, academies, schools, libraries, newspapers, and churches; crime statistics; and wages.

Federal Mortality Schedules, 1850-1880, Micfilm 2227
Gives information including name, age, sex, ract, place of birth, occupation, month of death, cause of death for people who died in the year ending June 1, 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880.  These schedules after 1880 were also destroyed when the other nonpopulation schedules were destroyed.
