Interdisciplinary in its coverage, Advances in Applied Mathematics is dedicated to the publication of original and survey articles on rigorous methods and results in applied mathematics. Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancements in applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathematics. All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review process. Generally, accepted papers will appear online within 3 weeks followed by printed hard copy.

SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics (SIAP) is an interdisciplinary journal containing research articles that treat scientific problems using methods that are of mathematical interest. Appropriate subject areas include the physical, engineering, financial, and life sciences. Examples are problems in fluid mechanics, including reaction-diffusion problems, sedimentation, combustion, and transport theory; solid mechanics; elasticity; electromagnetic theory and optics; materials science; mathematical biology, including population dynamics, biomechanics, and physiology; linear and nonlinear wave propagation, including scattering theory and wave propagation in random media; inverse problems; nonlinear dynamics; and stochastic processes, including queueing theory. Mathematical techniques of interest include asymptotic methods, bifurcation theory, dynamical systems theory, complex network theory, computational methods, and probabilistic and statistical methods.

SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis (SIMA) features research articles of the highest quality employing innovative analytical techniques to treat problems in the natural sciences. Every paper has content that is primarily analytical and that employs mathematical methods in such areas as partial differential equations, the calculus of variations, functional analysis, approximation theory, harmonic or wavelet analysis, or dynamical systems. Additionally, every paper relates to a model for natural phenomena in such areas as fluid mechanics, materials science, quantum mechanics, biology, mathematical physics, or to the computational analysis of such phenomena.

Studies in Applied Mathematics (formerly The Journal of Mathematics and Physics before 1969) was founded by Clarence Moore at MIT in 1921. It has a long tradition of facilitating interactions between mathematics and applied disciplines. Its former managing editors were Clarence Moore (1921-1928), Philip Franklin (1929-1945), Eric Reissner (1946-1967), and David Benney (1968-2013). Under David Benney the journal's name was changed and the journal logo was created.
