This guide supports students, faculty and staff who manipulate, visualize and/or analyze data using statistical methods and software.

Support for Statistical Analysis

The UVA Library StatLab provides free statistical consulting for students, faculty and staff engaged in research. Services include

Assisting with study design and statistical planning for grant proposals
Helping with graphical displays and data presentation
Consulting on choice and application of statistical methods
Helping with understanding and interpreting statistical analysis
Helping use statistical software (R, Stata, SPSS, SAS; some Python support is also available)
