Children's and Young Adult Literature

The Children’s and Young Adult Literature Collection (CAYAC) at UVA Library is here to support your work as a future teacher, counselor, or health professional. We collect books for early childhood literacy, disability, social studies, STEM, and public health—resources you’ll use directly in your courses and field experiences.

Recognized by the Virginia Department of Health, the collection is also a growing national resource for teaching, research, and consultation.
