    The only library located on the Lawn, the Music Library at the University of Virginia supports research in musicology, theory and analysis, composition, performance, jazz, musical theater, ethnic and world music, popular music, and folk music. The Music Library has one of the most significant music collections in the southeastern United States, including more than 135,000 books, scores, and sound recordings as well as extensive online collections (including access to more than 500,000 tracks of music). The Music Library is located in Old Cabell Hall.
