Deliverables

You should have watched 3 videos and read the content in this guide.

Additionally, you have two items to turn in this week.

Deliverable 1: Turn in a completed article annotation using the template provided. Any format is fine (e.g., Word format, scanned copy of a printout you filled in by hand.)  Submit to Collab.

Deliverable 2: Find an article you think will be useful to your project.  (You don't have to commit to using this article for your paper.  This is simply practice.)  This is the starting point article.

The starting point article will cite other articles; select an article citation that you think is worth exploring.  (This article would be published before the starting point article publication date.)  Say why the starting point article cited the older article.

Next, find an article that cites the starting point article. (This article would be published after the original article).  Say why the newer publication cited the starting point article.  Note: Google Scholar and Web of Science are helpful for finding articles that cite the original article.  Some library databases can also help you with this task.

Example of Google Scholar "cited by" feature

Submit a list of 3 total citations using APA style.  Be clear about which citations are which (starting point article, older article, newer article).  Say why the starting point article cited the older article.  Say why the newer article cited the starting point article.  Submit to Collab in Word format.
