During pandemic times I am available for meetings virtually using Zoom. You can schedule an appointment by contacting me directly at mav4n@virginia.edu. When you make an appointment, I will send you a Zoom link for us to meet. If Zoom will not work for you, please email me and we will find another option for meeting.

  3. Leo Delivery. Physical delivery to departments will not be available during Fall 2020
  4. Interlibrary Loan. Interlibrary Loan is functional, but the number of institutions able to participate is limited.

UVA libraries fully support the French Studies at the University of Virginia. The study of French at the University of Virginia cultivates an expansive and critical engagement with the French-speaking world of all periods, from the middle Ages to the twenty-first century.

 
French Studies at UVA also emphasize its intersections with a variety of other fields and topics, including history, comparative literature, linguistics, philosophy, psychoanalysis, gender and sexuality studies, visual arts and film, music, popular culture, Canadian studies, Francophone studies, and politics.
 
The goal of this guide is to direct you to the best resources for the study of French Studies at UVA. The guide includes reference works, monographs, journal articles, databases owned or licensed by the library, and academic open sources available to UVA.
