Interlibrary Services
Although the Library owns or has access to many items, there will be times that you need something not owned. When this occurs, you can ask us to borrow the item or obtain a copy of an article from another library. To use this service you must be a faculty, staff or student at UVa and you must complete a brief registration with the ILS service. Please see one of the following links for more information:
Electronic Book Collections
- Center for Retrospective Digitization, GöttingenThe task of the GDZ is to record data such as prints, manuscripts and illustrations and to present them. Scientists, teachers and students will find a large amount of scholarly relevant texts in digitized form. There are over 5,500 items currently in the Mathematics section.

- University of Michigan Historical Mathematics CollectionThe University of Michigan Historical Mathematics Collection is a growing library of books selected from the University of Michigan mathematics collection that have been digitized to improve access and to preserve the content of these books. All of the books in this collection were published in the 19th or early 20th century.
