The Jefferson Madison Regional Library is a fantastic public library with many locations and a large childrens' book collection. UVa students, faculty and staff who live in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Louisa, Greene and Nelson counties, can go in person to any of the public libraries in those counties and borrow books. Can't find the book you need in UVA's collection? You can see if this public library's collections of children's and young adult books. You could also submit an Interlibrary Loan Request to the UVA library and they will try to borrow the children's book from another university library. The service is free.
