Many of the laws passed by Congress since 1976 are indexed in VIRGO, the Library's onlline catalog. Possible searches would include:
Public Law 111-148 -- when you know the public law number, e.g. 111-148
"public law'" AND immigration -- when you know the topic.
Check with staff in you don't find the law you are searching for.
In some cases if you already know the Public Law number and are looking for the full text an internet search may be all that's needed to bring back the full text.
