Videoconferencing
Use Camera, Wall Monitor, Microphone, and Speaker for Videoconferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc...)
You must connect two wires to your laptop to use the camera, wall monitor, microphone, and speaker for videoconferencing. If possible, have your laptop charger plugged in.
- On the room's touch panel select Device Mode
- Plug the room's HDMI cable into your laptop (use the HDMI to USB-C adapter if your laptop lacks an HDMI port)
- Plug the room's USB-C cable into your laptop (use the USB-C to USB-A adapter if your laptop lacks a USB-C port)
- Run your laptop's videoconferencing software (e.g. Zoom)
- Zoom
- Under the Mute (audio) icon select the Poly Studio microphone and Poly Studio speaker
- Under the Start Video icon select Poly Studio camera
- Non-Zoom videoconferencing software
- Select the Poly Studio microphone, speaker, and camera in yoru videoconferencing software
- If the camera only shows a black image, verify the lens cover is removed
- Join or conduct your video conference
- When finished, unplug the two cables from your laptop
