Creating an Account

If you've never used Zotero before, your first step will be registering for the free account.

Once you've done that, you'll have access to the online version of your Zotero account.

This online account includes:

  • a copy of your Library
  • access to connecting your Zotero account to other Zotero users,
  • creating and joining groups
    • This also creates Group Libraries,
  • your settings which allows you to decide what information you want to share about your work as well as the contents of your Library.
