About This Guide

The University of Virginia approaches Medieval Studies from a global and interdisciplinary perspective. This guide is necessarily a work in progress. It attempts to bring together pertinent resources collected by U.Va. Library--especially in the areas of history, religion, literature and art. It includes links to other research guides (for example Classics and Archaeology), as well as specific reference works, databases of scholarly articles, and primary source materials.
