Ensuring our that our UVA web environment is accessible to all visitors is our shared responsibility. But knowing what accessibility means, where to start finding and fixing what's inaccessible, whether we're doing a good job, and how to create a supportive culture for this work can be challenging. You're not alone! Join a group of your peers to explore common digital accessibility challenges, learn about successes, and get practical advice for moving forward together to create a more accessible digital space for everyone.
This event is for all UVA staff who create or manage online content (web pages, electronic documents, videos, etc.), including:
The workshop is composed of topical tracks that target common problems across the digital accessibility lifecycle. Tracks are also aimed at all staff regardless of technical expertise or job title. Topics to be covered include:
Tracks will include peer presentations, discussions, and hands-on work. This is not a sage-on-the-stage forum! Expect to discuss and work collaboratively.
